We Can Do The Upgrades That You Want Done
Since 1973 we have been providing handy-man services for homeowners in the Lenoir City and Farragut areas.
My Dad, along with his brother, learned their trade skills from their Father’s brother who had a residential building business in Nebraska. Both of them worked for their uncle to pay for their college education at the University of Nebraska. Dad had the patience, much patience, to introduce me to the many trades that his uncle had taught him. In addition to the hands-on skills that Dad taught me, he also preached about the importance of being conscious of safe working habits and safe job site conditions. I feel sure that his uncle taught him about working safely too and he then incorporated that knowledge into his regular job at the ORGDP (K25) plant in Oak Ridge.
When I was in my teenage years, I didn’t realize just how many trades my Dad was skilled in. Carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and auto mechanics too. Although I don’t think he was to keen on painting! He never seemed to be shy of trying something new. And oh boy I sure do remember re-roofing our house when I was 12 years old! He wasn’t shy about asking for help either, but then I guess that was when my safety lessons began. I miss him.
